Course Overview
- The course is designed based on the next-generation mobile network solution that includes Open-RAN, 5G Core, Cloud Native PaaS, and SDN/NFV.
- This course covers the concepts from basics to advanced level to help the students understand end-to-end Telco Cloud Solutions and the practical approach to designing a 5G Network based on Cloud Native.
- It starts with the virtualization concepts (the foundation of Mobile Packet Core deployment) and goes on to cover OpenStack, NFVi, ETSI MANO Architecture, Kubernetes, 5G concepts, and 5G deployment models.
- This course also has hands-on labs on Virtualization, OpenStack, NFVi, and Kubernetes.

5G Network Deployment 5GC and UERANSIM
Learners are required to set up an architecture using Open5GS and UERANSIM library. They will then have to submit a report presenting the complete network architecture mentioning the interface with the correct SBI IP addresses, the PLMN for the core network, gNB, and UE.
