Data Scientist

In today's digital landscape, the data sets available to companies are enormous, increasing the demand for this role.

  • Strong knowledge of databases used to store and study data, like MySQL. 
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language like Python is essential to being a data scientist. 
  • Understanding of data mining techniques and their implementation in forecasting or segmentation.

Business Analyst

A business analyst is a professional who understands the problems and provides data-driven solutions to the stakeholders. A business analyst works closely from the beginning of a project to track and monitor the end product's performance. This is another famous role that is on the rise nowadays. 

 

What Skills Do You Need?

  • It is crucial to identify the business demands and develop suitable solutions. 
  • Ability to identify business needs and collect data and track key metrics of business processes. 
  • When it comes to this role, soft skills are paramount to success. 
  • Decision-making to make choices that will affect your company's business. 
  • Excel is the fundamental tool used to make pivot tables, charts, growth models, calculations, etc.

Structural Engineer

Wireless Network Engineer

  • Critical skills are significant, like designing and developing wireless networks, like WLANs.  
  • You have to be a team player to collaborate with engineers, vendors and managers to deliver to the demands of the clients. 
  • Knowledgeable in routing programmes.

Design Engineer

A design engineer is responsible for designing, planning, and managing new products, machines, vehicles, steel structures, etc. This career route is very popular as anything you see around you, from kitchen gadgets to car engines, is designed by design engineers. You will have to bring design solutions to the table that will be cost-effective to produce and easy to use.

  • Knowledgeable in CAD, CAE, 2D and 3D modelling to create prototypes of the designs.
