Convert mechanical part into electrical part

Aim:

To convert a mechanical clamp and backshell into electrical part and create a catalogue for protection coverings.

Objective:

· Create an entry, exit and base plane and define support in electrical part workbench.

· Create a backshell connecting axis and bundle connecting point and define backshell in electrical part workbench.

· Create a protection coverings with various diameter and add it into the catalogue with name of slit COT.

Introduction:

In wiring harness design connectors need to be convert into electrical part for connecting cavity and harness bundle. Clamp or clip used to hold the bundle and it also used to arrange the bundle. Backshell are plastic molded parts used at wire entry side of connectors either for protection or to improve aesthetic appearance. A wire harness is a specially designed system that keeps numerous wires or cables organized. It is a systematic and integrated arrangement of cables within an insulating material. The purpose of the wiring assembly is to transmit a signal or electrical power.
