Wiring harness routing & packaging Rules Week 3 Challenge
Wiring harness routing & packaging Rules Week 3 Challenge
Download the following cad data & define it as Electrical support using the Electrical Part Design Workbench. Define all the necessary properties.
I have downloaded the cad part file from the provided link and made the definition as p-clamp is a support element

The given clip was downloaded and opened as a surface file.
I have created two points that will be used as entry and exit points.
Then a two-plane has to be created at the normal to the points.
A base plane has to be defined at a distance of 2 to 5 mm from the clip.
again we define the exit point at the first definition as the entry point.
hence I have two entry and two exit points.

BACKSHELL CREATIONS

The backshell data was downloaded from the website.
We define the points in the part workbench.
An Axis system with the correct axis orientation is placed at the backshell connection point.
The points have to be defined as the backshell connection and bundle connection points.

created a Backshell entry point.
create an axis system for back shell entry.
create bundle connection point.
switch to Electrical part design.
Define part electrical as the backshell.
Then define the Backshell connection point.
Define bundle connection point.
