Wiring harness design in CATIA V5 - 3D modeling Week 7 Challenge

REPORT : In this challenge, we have considered different connectors, their routing and providing protective coverings to them. We have followed the proper procedure and electrically defined the connectors successfully in the electrical part design workbench. And then we have created catalogues for the same. We are providing proper family names to those catalogues and added these parts corresponding to the catalogues which we have prepared. Electrical part design workbench is having the proper options to define all these important parts.
Then we are creating the connections or routing between various connectors using "Electrical Wiring harness assembly" workbench. In this process we are first converting the mechanical product file into electrical product by making it a geometrical bundle. Then using the command "multi-branchable document" we are creating and designing the routing and providing the routing definitions according to the requirement. In order to move the part, rotate it and all we are using the command "manipulation" which is present in the mechanical assembly design workbench. And finally after creating all the appropriate routing, we are providing the protective coverings using the COT tubes of various diameters present in the catalogue which we have defined. Also, we have provided proper gap between the connectors and protective coverings. And hence we have completed our assembly successfully.
After that process, we have flattened the harness assembly using electrical harness flattening workbench using the command "flatten", before that we have used the option "extract" to get the assembly which we have already created. And then we have used the commands " rotate, roll, synchronize" etc. to define it well. Finally we have converted into a 2-D drawing and converted into a pdf file successfully. In the drawing sheet, if we are considering in the industrial standards, above mentioned image shows the details to be included.
