Wiring harness design in CATIA V5 - 3D modeling Week 4 Challenge
Aim:
1.To Route the following harness layout in the Electrical workbench.
2. Add protective covering on all branches connected to DT06-2S & DT06-4S connectors.
Given:
CAD data of the following Connectors:
- DT06-4S
- DT06-6S
- DT06-2S
- DT06-08SA
Connectors Layout Design:
Steps to be followed:
1. Download connector 3D data from www.te.com
- DT06-6S
- DT06-2S
- DT06-08SA
2. Convecting the Mechanical part into the Electrical part for that I had followed the following steps.
* Defining the connector as connector and connector connection point and Bundle entry point.

4.DT06-8S
* Creation of multi branch in assembly.
Steps of creation of harness assmbly
1. Dowload the all input cad file in from given link.
2. define the connector as connector connection point and bundle entry point define all the paramenter required.
3. create a skecth from given data for routing the connector and bundles.
4. Add all the connector as exisxting connector in product file and renam the product as per your naming.
5. place all the connector according to the skecth that you creat and the direction of should be facing in bundle entry point.
6. start adding branch to the connector and give proper diameter,bend ration.
7. add brunch point for conneting the connector to main connector and the lenth for branch point.
8. after this add protection covering to the branch first you have to make corrugated tube and added in cataologue apply the tube and give a 30mm extrimity
