Wiring harness design in CATIA V5 - 3D modeling Week 2 Challlenge

1).

a) coonector is the first uploaded in paert design work bench

b)we define the points for connector connection and bundle connection

c)the axis system are placed on the connector connection and cavity connection points

d)the oriention of the axis system is not specific we just need to follow a similar orientation for all the parts

e) here are the y axis in the direction of the connection , z axis in the upper side and x axis in the locking side

f) now we define part as electrical eliment with number of terminals

g)connector connection and bundle connection is defined in the electrical part design

2.the same process we follow for the secound connector . here we jusrt need to include connector cavity connection point. this is done to fix the clip on connector

the clip has to be defined as a cavity in the electricalpart design workbench

3) electrical assembly

here we assemble the connector and cavity
