Download the cad file from te.com. open the file and open the part workbench. the part is connector where one side where three holes are called bundle connection side and other side is called is mating side. At first mark the centre point in bundle side called bundle connection point. And follow this on opposite side select point and choose between option selecting two points at edge and select mid point option.the point is called connector connection point. click the axis system and fix this on the connector connection point and y-axis should be facing mating direction and z-axis is left to right and x-axis is for orientation purpose. come to bottom of the part to mark cavity connection point.( as in picture) .click the edge of joining face mark the point ( mid point).click the axis system and place this axis on the cavity point and direction of three axis should be same as above. open the electrical part workbench. select connector definition command and click the part and tab is shown where type is selected according to part and nuber of termination is 3. click the bundle entry command in side. click the part and tab is shown representation is face of bundle,point is bundle point and initial condition is face. click the 'define connector connection point' command and click the part and tab is shown where both representation and contact click the connector point and coincidence is y-axis and orientation is x-axis. click the define cavity connection point command and click the part fill the tab as representations as cavity point, contact as face which join the clip, coincidence as y-axis and orientations as x-axis.save the document . for catalouge creation . file- new- catalouge document. refer the picture attached for details for clip catalouge also.

open the document in part workbench. top of the clip where there face to be joined. click the edge and middle point option mark the point.click the axis systems and place the system in the point and direction of three axis is same as asis system in connector. select the electrical part wokbench and click the define mounting equiment command and select the clip part. click the define cavity command and click the part and tab is shown and representation is point created as above. contact is face which join the connector, coincidence is y-axis and orientations is x-axis.

Assembly:copy the above part and paste in newly created electrical assembly workbench and click the connect electrical device command . click the clip and click the connector the cavity connection point will be in green colour . click that point. both parts will be attached to one another.

for Deutsch DT06 – 08SA

same procedure for connector mentioned above except the number of terminal is eight and there is no cavity operation.
