Connector Definition in Catia V5 :-

1. Deutsch DT06 - 08SA

2. Tyco 174357 - 2

3. Tyco 85229 - 1

Procedure :-

1. Deutsch DT06 - 08SA

They are two connection point is there are,

1. Connector connection point

2. Bundle connection point

Create midepoint on the contact face which will be normal wire bundle insertion, Create axis system with respect to point which we have created and define the axis direction as shown.

Electric Part Design :-

Define the part connector in catia give the number of termination in 8 because we have 8 entry points of wire.

2. Tyco 174357 - 6 :-

1.Create midpoint

2.Create the connector connection point

3.Create connector connection axis system

4.Create cavity connection point

5.Create cavity connection axis system

6.Switch to electric part design and define part as connector

7.Define connector connection point and cavity connection point

3. Tyco 85229 - 1 :-

1.Create midpoint

2.Create cavity connection point

3.Create cavity connection axis system and orientation should be same as in connector

4.Switch to electric part design and define part as maounting equipment

5.Define cavity connection point

Electric Assembly Design :-

Import connector and cavity / mounting clip, select defining electric connection. Select cavity and then connector.
