Week 9 Tension and Torsion test challenge

Aim :

The aim is to analyze the given model.

Objective:

The tension test, displace one end of the specimen to 18mm while keeping the other fixed.

Torsion test, you will need to displace one end of the specimen to an angle of 1200 degree.

Procedure:

Initially open up the ansys workbench,

then open up the model, add explicit,

and edit material in engg data add steel 1006,

then open the geometry and edit in the mechanical ansys,

Add the required coordinates,

now generate the mesh with sizing and tetrahedron apply it and

give the fixed and displacement load,

change the end time setting,

and add the solution requirements,

finally solve it and save it as archive.

The given model has been analyzed and the results has been tabulated above and the animation and archive hasbeen attached in the asset.
