Week 9 - Project 1 - Door Applique Design with Engineering Features

AIM : To create the Door Applique Plastic component through the given Class-A surface. To begin with, the tooling axis for the given Class-A Surface should be created meeting the requirements of the draft angle and at the end perform the Draft analysis on the model.

STEPS :

Given class A

Extract top and bottom surface from class A, untrim it and extrapolate in a such a way that they both intersect.

Trim the surfaces together and take an offset of 2.5mm like given below.

Use sweep option to generate class C. Make sure that proper direction is given. Here class C is created by taking class A as reference.

Overall class ABC.

Draft analysis is done for attachment features.
