Week 9 - Creating connection for Rear door

Aim: - To perform a connection for Rear Door

Objective: -

1. To provide a proper connection to all surfaces.
2. use diffrent types of connections method.
3. assign proper PIDs to diffrent parts

Procedure :-

1. assign proper PID to the given model (diffrent part) by Set PID option faces option in classic mesh.

2. then assign a diffent PIDs to diffrent - Diffrent part you see.

3. no need to given thickne for now only.

4. now come to NASTRAN deck to provide a proper connection to assembly

5. to do that first start with all bolt conection, door hinge, brackets.

6. to do bolt connecton go to REB2 element selecte the hole in which bolt connection need to assing, there should be two surfaces (by using bolt connection) select one hole and click middle click buton, and assing a group for it as name connection.

7. now connection to second hole same like REB2 , and connect then with two node connection.

8. to apply a spot weld connection for two overlaping parrt, first creat COG point, and then make that COG point into 3D point and by using connection manager assign it a spot weld.

9. now assign a P1 and P2 and select type of connection specify search distance and entre, yiu will gt a proper spotweld.
