REPORT ABOUT TOOLING AXIS AND DRAFT ANALYSIS :-

TOOLING AXIS :-

The primary factor for plastic and mold parts is the tooling axis or direction, which determines the movement of the mold part and the possibility that the plastic part will separate from the mold part (Core and Cavity). The tooling direction, which is used in molding machine configuration, is the direction along which the mold is opened. The mold is constructed from two separate components, the core and the cavity, and the tooling direction essentially indicates which way the mold pulls a part. The term primary direction refers to tooling direction.

This is where I made the tooling axis. Initially, I take off a basic surface and make a midpoint on it. After that, I draw a line through this point that is parallel to the base surface. I then carried out a draft analysis.

A SURFACE DRAFT ANALYSIS (Isometric, Front, Back, Side, and Top View) :-

SOLID COMPONENT DRAFT ANALYSIS (Isometric, Front, Back, Left, Right, Top and Bottom View) :-

It's possible to use the Draft Analysis command to determine whether the part you drafted will be simple to remove. This kind of analysis uses color ranges to pinpoint areas on the analyzed element where, at any given time, the deviation from the draft direction corresponds to predetermined values.

Once the tooling axis has been established, draft analysis is performed to see if the minimal draft of three degrees is being maintained.

The user can quickly determine the correct draft angle of a part by using the Draft Analysis. The amount of taper for cast or molded pieces perpendicular to the parting line is described by a draft angle. Draft Analysis can be used with models of 3D parts.

Any 3D part file must have the part or surface selected in order to generate a draft analysis with the pull direction selected. The pull direction is modifiable.
