Draft Analysis:

The draft analysis was done for class A surface, the closed surface model and the solid model. The threshold angle is set to 3 degrees and checked for variations in draft angles. The other thresholds were 70, 50, 0 and -20 degrees.

Tooling Axis:

The surface is selected for boundary operation. In the boundary, a point is created at the centre of the circle. A dummy axis is created through the point. Then a new axis system is created with the point as origin. The class A surface is intersected with a perpendicular plane in the created axis system. Lines are extended from four points(2 lines) that form a slant portion of the intersection curve. Then a bisecting line is created from the 2 lines. This line will pass through the dummy axis and the point created at the beginning. This bisecting line is the tooling axis (the white line).
