Week 9 - Challenge 1 - Base Bracket Design

Hi,

PFA the CAT part with close surface.

Steps involved:

1. Identified the tooling direction by dummy Z axis.

2. Then using an axis system intersection, created a tooling axis by bisecting which clears the 3 deg draft.

3. By using the surface commands and offset created the B surface.

4. Creating the C surface is a complicated one, as the Smooth curve option with the A surface support gives a non desireable output.

5. Created Different Boundaries on complicated areas and joined the C surface.

6.Trimmed the B and C Surface and joined the A surface to check for Boundaries, found few and cleared the Boundaries by different methods.

7. Made a close surface and checked for draft analysis and all were good.
