Week 9 - Attachment Feature Creation - Challenge 2

AIM : To Create the boss and Dog House for the Centre console coin holder considering the design rules.

Rules to be followed for screw boss and dog house.

STEPS : SCREW BOSS

Insert geometric set.

Use positioned sketch to draw bosses.

Use pad option to convert it into a body.

Ribs for bosses have to be drawn.

Use union trim to remove the inner portion.

Make a draft of 0.5 degree.

Translate the body into another position.

DOG HOUSE :

Insert geometric set.

Use positioned sketch to draw dog house.

Extrude the part in surface modelling, generative shape design.

Convert it into part by thickening it.

Next step is to provide coring at the bottom.

Extract the side and top phases and offset them according to the rules and trim them together to get a profle.

Using that split it with respect to dog house body.
