Week 9 - Attachment Feature Creation - Challenge 2
1. Creation of screw Boss and Dog house:-
- Extract the bottom surface of the coin holder part body, draw the sketch for M5 screw boss and extrude it for required length.
- make it as a part body after that given draft into the screw boss according to design rule such as draft angle is 0.5 degree.
- also creat the some rib on circumference of screw boss accodring to the rib design rule .
- for one more screw boss use translate command and generate one more screw boss with rib using coordinate system.
- At last go for the dog house design accordingly doghouse design guidelines.
- Extract the bottom surface of part body.
- generate the sketch for doghouse base.
- using sweep command under the draft reference (draft angle 1.5 degree)
- untrim extract surfaces
- offset the surface upto 20mm above the extract surface.
- using trim command and creat the basic doghouse part body .
- thicken the doghouse surface under the part body (thickness is 2mm)
- according to doghouse design rule generate multi section wall thickness of 1.0mm and trim that surface into the basic part body of doghouse.
- then given the draft on required faces on that body after the draft analysis.
- and finally give the fillet in all surfaces.
- and move the screw boss on the top of the doghouse body and assembled all part.
