Week 9 - Attachment Feature Creation - Challenge 1

AIM : To create the rib for the Centre console coin holder considering the design rules.

STEPS :

Insert geometric set for rib creation.

Using positioned sketch and consider the bottom part as reference surface.

Make sure the attachment features to lie on class B.

Im generative shape design, use the drawn line to extrude.

In part work bench , thicken the extrude to 2.5mm

Draft the part for an angle of 0.5

Do draft analysis for the component.

Use the design rules for rib creations.

Add the ribs to the coin holder.

Take an intersect between ribs and coin holder part.

Check for rib root thickness.
