1 Rib desing Rule steps

Spacing Check up rule on show surface;

Report on creation of rib on rear surafce of coin holder part:

Firstly set the profile for rib on surface where creat the rib , draw the sketch on that surface to provide some more strength in part stability. there are following steps.

• sketch a line on rear base of coin holer and then extrude for some distance.
• Define the part body and thicken the rib size according to rib design rule or guideline
• if there is some modification required according to the rib design rule then it should be modified accordingly.
• given the draft on rib almost 0.5degree along the tooling axis from the neutral plane on surfaces.
• check the manufacturability of rib carefully when designing the rib. such as thickness should be 1mm, height should be 12.5mm location and rib radius should be 0.5mm .
• insepct the rib root thickness is more then wall thickness. for checking the creat a plane on middle of the part and then find the intersection graph on that plane. then create the tri tangent circle which is depend on the rib radius profile and base part profile.
• tri tangent circle should be more than the wall thickness of part that's why the rib is manufactrable without any sink marks.
