AIM: To perform morphing technique on both the given models and to write a report on morphing and its industrial applications.
PROCEDURE:
1)Given models where checked geometrically and all the errors where fixed.
2)From the morphing module 'NEW' from the box is selected.
3)By selecting the required parts of the componenets, box where created.
4)Height or shape of the componenets where increased or changed by selecting the
nodes of the box.
5)Both ortho and min volume options where used to attain the desired changes in
cad.
APPLICATION OF MORPHING: 1) Easy change of existing cad geometry to introduce new
products
2)Used in Aviation industry
3)Used in Automobile industry to convert hatch back car to sedan
model
LEARNING & OUTCOMES: Basic techniques of using morphing is understood and the wide
application of morphing in industries are also understood.
