Week - 4 - 2D meshing for Plastic components

AIM: To exract the mid surface from the given plastic bottle cap and mesh the midplane with certain quality parameters

PROCEDURE: 1.Geometry check was done and the obtained error was fixed aotomatically

2.Thickness of different parts where measured.

3.Midsurface was extracted for each part and PID where provided according to the thickness of part

4.Geometry clean up wehere done to avoid unwanted double cons and hot points

5.Quality parameters where provided.

6.Meshing was done for different parts according to the PID's

7.Meshflow was made correct, unwanted trias ,rotating quads where avoided

LEARNING & OUTCOMES : Was able to learn different methods to take the midplane of a plastic part manually .Usage of different methods to make mesh flow better was also a learning .
