Week - 8 - Morphing

Aim:- To study the morphing technique used in industry, to understand why morphing is use in industry.

Procedure:

• morhing can be done in morph module in ansa, basically morphing is done to for small change the design. it is then simulated and if its gives better results then we go for theoretical techniques this method usually save lot of time development of new product.
• 

• Morph box is created by the box selection on the geometry, we can also select the fe elements as morphing.

• Now by using the free move command in box morphing we can select the entity or nodes for moving the geometry for its original place.

Same operation can be done on various location where the small changes are needed in geometry.

Conclusion :

Morphing is an adaption of given shape to a new form, the geometry concet can be modified to require proportion to create new design.

we can modifiy the geometry at the mesh level which will reduces the amount time spent in the designing cad

and most important that it keep all blot and load connection in the model uptodate.
