Aim:Plastic Trim of Class A ,B and C surface for given styling surface into close surface profile with respest to derving tooling direction using plastic manufacturing standards.
Consideration:
Minimum draft angle:3 Degree
Uniform Thickness: 3mm
Step-1
Checking Surface interigity of received Styling Surface and extracting Class A surface.
Step-2
Creating Tooling Direction and checking with draft analysis.
All surface meets 3 degree minimum draft angle criteria.
Step 3
Creating B surface at an offset of 3mm from class A surface( stylying surface)
Step 4
Creating Class C surface joining Class A and Class B surface.
Step 5:
Final triming of A,B and C surface to obtain closed surface. Profile is checked for any open edges. Class A surface is corrected for edge correction and final trim is obtain again to create solid body from surface.
Solid Body:
Draft ANalysis of Final Body:
All surface satisfy the condition Draft analysis for Fianl body, hence it can be manufactured using injection molding with given tool axis.
Wall Thickness is measured across the body surface to check the uniformity and found OK.

Parents and children tree:
Conclusion:
Hence Plastic trim surface is acheived for Switch Bezel Design and verified using draft analysis and measured of uniform thickness across the body to meet the plastic manufacturing standards.
