Week 8 - Challenge 3 - Coin Holder Design

part 1

TOOLING AXIS : we know that tooling axis is represents the direction of the movement of the core and cavity of the mould. in this challenge tooling axis is created in different steps.

step 1 : extract the base surface of the part from the given class A surface.

step 2 create a point in center of the base surface

STEP 3 create a new axis system with respect to the point which created.

step 4 create a line from the point perpendicular to the surface. that line is the tooling axis of this challenge.
