Week 8-Challenge

OBJECTIVE:-

Creating tetra-mesh for housing model using given element size & tet collaspe.

PROCEDURE:-

1.First mesh the entire model by 2d tria element and then convert to tetrahedral element by using tetra mesh.

2. After model is meshed with 2d tria element

Select the 3d tetra mesh option in tetra mesh panel , select the elements under the fixed or quads to tetra mesh after assining element click on mesh button toperform tetra meshing.

RESULT:-

Performing tetra mesh on the tria element assign the element size of min- 2mm, target- 5mm, max- 7mm & tet collaspe 0.15 to the model.

CONCLUSION:-

By knowing meshing of 2d tria element 7 converting it into tetra meshing of four-noded element to the geometry these elements are used where geometry has high thickness and complexity.
