Week 8 - Challenge 1 - Draft Analysis on a Fan Cover

1. Tooling axis

• Creating a postioned sketch on zx-axis and creating the projection line with intersect the 3D element .
• from the projectionline creating two line on the either sides and bisecting them on z direction.
• with the same inputs creating the projection lines on zy-axis.
• the resultant lines x-axis & y-axis are bisected again to get the final tooling axis.

2.Draft analysis

• Insert -> Analysis -> Feature Draft Analysis
• moving the axis to the tooling direction and locking it
• the min draft degree is 3 by clicking on the class A, we can know the degree of draft
