Week 8-3D Tetra Meshing Challenge
Aim: To perform tetra meshing on the 3 given models
Objective: To perform tetra meshing on the 3 given models with given below quality criteria
Procedure:
1.The geometry clean up was done on the model and the edges failing for min length were toggled

Fig: toggled edge
2.After cleaning the geo the 2D shell mesh was performed on the model and after that the off elements were cleared

Fig: Zero off min lenght elements Fig: Zero off max lenght elements
3.After this tetra volume mesh was done on the model through 3D tab,and elements failing for tet collapse were cleaned through points and node by adjusting the height of the elements
Fig : 3D Tet Elements
4.the same above approach was used for other 2 models and below are the related pics of the model.

Fig : model 2 (2D mesh) Fig : model 2 (tets)
5. the images of the model are attached below, the model was similar parts which are assembled and shown in the below image.
6.the model 3 was having a destorted surface on the 1-solid body part which was further cleaned such that it encloses a volume

Fig : model 3 (2D shell elements) Fig: Model 3 (tetra elem)
Conclusion: hence the 3D tetra mesh was created on the avbove the three model without any off elements
Learning outcomes: Hence came to know how to deal with solid components and learned how to create volumetric tetra mesh
