Week 8-3D Tetra Meshing Challenge

Aim:

The aim is to mesh the given model with the given criterias.

Objective:

Case 1:

TetraMesh Generation Method: 2D to 3D Conversion

Elements sizes: Min- 2 Units, Target- 5 Units, Max- 7 Units

Tet collapse: 0.15

Case 2:

TetraMesh Generation Method: Quick Tetra Mesh/ Volume Tetra Mesh

Target Element size: 3 Units.

Tet Collapse: 0.15

Case 3:

TetraMesh Generation Method: Quick Tetra Mesh/ Volume Tetra Mesh

Target Element size: 4 Units.

Tet Collapse: 0.15

Procedure:

Initially import the model in hypermesh optistruct,

then take a geometry cleanup by autocleanup,

For case:1, initialy 2d mesh as generated and the 3d tetra mesh has been done,

For case:2&3 quick tetra mesh has been did, in the view hypermesh and go to geometry mesh and,

Give the quick tetra mesh and select the component,

Generate the mesh, and check for the criteria, and save it.

Result:

Therefore the given model has been meshed and submitted in the asset.
