Week 7 Challenge - Assembly Workbench
PROCEDURE FOR THE ASSEMBLY OPERATION IN CATIA 5
Assembling is the process of combining of seperated parts. In mechanical related components, there will be diffferent parts which are combainted together for its working.by using the software CATIA we can develop the parts in the part design methode and then the created parts can be combined each other in the assemly section and produce a product. There are some procedure to compleate the assembly which are,
- Open the CATIA V5 software then start it by selecting the part design.
- For different products there will be one or more parts which are combained together and produce a fully assembled product.
- First by using the part design we create the parts seperatly one after another by studying the drafting sheet.
- The drafting sheet will helps about the parts diamension and it gives a different views of the parts.
- The created parts will be saved seperatly for the assembly .
- By checking the sketch solving status and all other process like pading , boolean opretion while doing the part design and save all the parts one by one.
- After all the parts are created then select the assembly design from the software.
- By opening it, we will copy all the parts which we are created in the part design and paste it in the assembly section.
- Now all the parts will be viewed in the assembly section.
- By looking the drafting and we can arrange the parts together with the help of move tools.
- By joining all the parts together we can get a fully assembled product.
- The final product will be saved in the form of .product.
