Week 7 Challenge - Assembly Workbench

Assembly features and process used in this particular assignment:

To assemble a component, first we need individual parts and those are designed using boolean operations and stored in folder.

Now, we have to open an assembly workbench inside the catia, then creat a new part and it acts as a skeleton for the assembly. To ensure all the parts are ready for future updates, before aseembling make sure to publish the reference points, lines or planes.

Then, under the product structure tools, select insert existing component and bring all the required parts to the assembly environment. Next, by using constraint Toolbar, fix the base component to the skeleton part.

After that, with the help of reference elements that are already published, make constrains such as coincidence, contact depending on the requirement.

Similar to sketche workbench, assembled product is properly constrained.
