Week 7-12-Creation of 1D Connectors Challenge
Creation of 1D connection challenge
Objective :
· To this challenge to mesh the component of given element quality criteria.
· And to connect the by using various types of connection, as per given task.
Procedure :
· They are various types of connectors take place namely,
1. Seam weld
2. Spot weld
3. Bolt etc.
Weld Joints:
- Rigid links
- Spring elements
- Shell-to-shell connections
- Weld elements
Bolts:
- Rigid links
- Spring elements
- Bolt elements
- Pre-tension
Hyper Mesh:
1. Select components
2. Choose connection type
3. Define properties
4. Refine connection
· And here the task to done connection of various joint
Ø .Right_Rail_2 & Front_truss_1:- Seam-Quad(angled+capped+L)
Ø Left_Rail_2 & Front_truss_1:- Quad elements
Ø Front_truss_2, Front_truss_1 & Right_Rail_1:- Spot weld with 2 Layers and 5 mm Diameter
Ø Front_truss_2, Front_truss_1 & Left_Rail_1:- Hexa (Adhesive)
Ø Rear_truss_2 & Right_Rail_2:- Bolt Connector
Ø Rear_truss_2 & Left_Rail_2:- Bolt Connector
Ø Right_Rail_1 & Right_Rail_2:- Spot-weld with Rigid Elements
Ø Left_Rail_1 & Left_Rail_2:- Spot-weld with Spring Elements
Ø Pass by all the given quality criteria
Ø And create connection for other those areas suitable weld and connections.
Ø Make check the realize all the connection by connectors box.
Result:
The given component has successfully completed mesh and suitable connection to those suitable areas.
