Meshing of the Hood geometry from the extracting the middle surface
OBJECTIVE

- Extract the middle surface
- Meshing the hood
- Check for quality criteria
MIDDLE SURFACE

Middle surface is generated from all the different components separately .
GEOMETRY CLEANUP

All the different mid surface auto cleanup done.All the unnecessary lines and points have been removed.
Symmetry surface is been delated and split surface is done for better mesh flow.
MESHING
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Components were meshed with element size 5 units. Although the uniform mesh flow is not achieved still tried to capture all surface and max no of quads and reduced tria elements.
CONCLUSION
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hence all the middle surface is meshed and tried to reduce the no of failed elements.
