Week 6 - Creating connection for Rear door

PROJECT / CHALLENGE WEEK 6 – “Connections of Door” Using ANSA

AIM- Attaching various parts of the given model by creating different connectors available in the model.

Tools Used-

Set PID

Points on COG

Convert

Connection manager

RB2 two/ Many Nodes

Procedure:

1. Firstly, import the component into the ANSA window.

1. As Given model Are in one PID we need to assign PID for individual part.

1. After Assigning PID check for part what all the connection required.
2. Fallow the below mentioned method for achieving different connection.

For Bolt –

• Create Points on COG by selecting element or required portion

• Convert COG / 3D point to BOLT for fastener connection, Spot weld point for spot welding

• In connection manager select the bolt element and provide P2 and P2 surface for fixing.( For fastener select Bolt, Spot weldingRBE3 HEXA RBE3, for dampenerRBE3CbushRBE3)

• Fallow the above procedure for different type of connection.

Door Hinge connection using Bolt connection.

Two component connection with using RB32many node connection

Spot Weld connection And applied PID

Door handle connection and applied load

Dampner connection on window glass by creating curves.

Conclusion : Checking all connection are been done or not by using !not and neighbouring all command. Found all component connected checked with invert comment.
