WEEK :5

PROJECT TITLE: Solid Meshing for given Rear View Mirror using Unstructured Mesh ( Tetra Mesh)

STEP:1

Please Thoroughly Go Through The Given Sample Model ,please Check The Given Sample Is Plastic Or Sheetmetal Or Cast Related Component ,as You Know That For Sheet Metal And Plastic Components Mid Surface Generation Is The Approach To Start The Meshing Activities And Also It Is Related To 2D Meshing plat form.

STEP:2

Below Picture shows that the given model is an solid model. There is No Specific Thickness for the given Geometry. The same picture is attached for your kind reference

STEP:3

Please go for a geometrical check up and perform the geometrical cleanup's for the entire geometry structure

STEP:4

After performing the Geometry clean up activity ,Please do the 2d meshing for individual property materials as shown in the screen.

STEP:5

Once the 2D Meshing is done ,Request you to please go for generating the volumetric mesh for the individual property of the materials as shown in the below picture ,Also please note that for 2D meshing we need to focus on min and max length quality criteria and for the volumetric mesh we need to focus only on the Tetra Collapse.

After doing the Volumetric Mesh ,Please check that the given geometry is completed with the volumetric mesh or not.

STEP:6

Perform the volumetric mesh for the given geometry and please ensure that the volumetric mesh is done for the complete geometry structure or not .Now the geometric mesh is completed for the rear view mirror and the same is attached in the below file and also or should be free from the complete errors both in 2D and 3D Meshes.
