Week- 5 - Solid meshing

Aim-Solid meshing of a rear view mirror

Procedure-

1. We will download the model and we will do a geometry cleanup of the model and fix the errors of the model by using autofix.
2. Then as it is a solid model we don't have to take the midsurface of the moddle,
3. Then we will go the classic mesh and set the average lenght and the quality criteria as given in instructions,then using ortho tria we will mesh the curver faces and using tria we will mesh the flat surface ,ortho tria gives more defined mesh in the curved faces.
4. After meshing the outer skin we will click on 3d mesh and we will click on define and select the mirror and make a seperate property card of it and we will set the tet collaps as given in quality criteria and mesh the internal part of the mirror and for the handle of the mirror we will follow the same steps and and again tetra rapid mesh we will mesh the internal part.
5. Save the model after the complete meshing.

conclusion-We can see a fine meshed structure rear view mirror in which the outer skin is meshed and inner is also mesh and filled.
