Week- 5 - Solid meshing

Aim:

The aim is for the given Rear view mirror component, check for the geometrical errors and mesh the Surfaces with the given 2D element Quality criterias given below.

Use tetra elements to mesh the Volumes defined in the model and check for the below quality after Volume meshing.

Open the file with open command in the file,

Do the initial geometry check and fix the errors and under topo increase the length to 1 mm to check the geometry error and fix if shown,

As the given model is solid initially we do the volume mesh and complete using surface in tria in normal and ortho tria as it mesh at curved surface properly,

And then set the value of given in quality criteria,

length - 1

min length - 0.5

max length - 2

tet collapse as 0.2

after meshing,

Now define the volume for the model using define in the volume mesh module,

Result :

Finally the model has been done with the given criteria and attached below,
