Meshing of back door challenge

Objectives

· To learn the meshing knowledge in fillet areas.

· To learn and got ideas about meshing in complex areas.

Procedure

· They are some basic steps to follow they are cleaning the geometry before take mid surface.

· Take auto mid surface, otherwise take manually using offset option.

· To set the element quality criteria’s before start meshing.

· Mesh the surface and in fillet areas according to un needed lines are toggle the lines.

· To did the topology line cleanups.

· Using mask option for small surface meshing.

· If the component has similar side, then mesh any of the one side. Reflect the mesh to opposite side.

· Before reflect duplicate the elements and make sure the make the part current file.

· And finally check the any free edges, if it is had then fix it.

· And then preview the equilibrium and click the equilibrium so dis connect elements are make connect.

· In some cases, connect the elements did by manually with replace node.

· And all process is done and then give the property and assign the thickness for the component.

Result

The given component for meshing of back door successfully completed.
