As per the given question

Here we have taken 2 constants for the power supply & water to washine machine simulation block.

The outputs are as follows as the diagram.

There a LED indecator is provided.

__Flowchart_

Within the flowchart there a start block which takes input from the simulink.

And the conditions were given as follows

Power_supply==1

Water_supply==1

if these conditios satisfies the signal flows to the rest blocks as shown.

According to the queston given

• Soaking time should be 200s followed by Washing time of 100s.
• Then rinsing happens for next 20s & dryer runs for 50s

These will following the logics provided for each block as asked, then it comes to finish.

We have provided a run time for 500sec to run the simulation.

If the Power_supply==1 && water_supply==1, then only the outputs will be

Power=1

Water=1

soaking=1

washing=1

rinsing=1

dry=1

finish=1 & the LED will indicate Green(color)

Otherwise all of these outputs will come as 0 & LED will indicate Red(color).

For the following question we have used simulink with flowchart.

Here we have a constant input referring as speed.

Whatever the Speed input will be provided according to that the display at the output end will show the gear no.(as per the conditions given in query)

S=speed

Inside the flowchart the input was given to G1 block. Upto S<15 it will capture. Otherwise it will move to G2 for the condition S>15.

Like that the signal moves to each block to satisfy the following logic as provided

0 to 15 1

16 to 25 2

26 to 40 3

41 to 60 4

Above 61 5

So for the input we have taken S=55 & the stop time will be 100sec.

After it gies a result output as 4 in Display box which refers to gear.

So the conditions satisfies succesfully.
