Week - 4
Working principle of Washing Machine :
washing machine removes dirt from the surface of the cloth via centrifugal force and also dry the cloth by using centrifugal force. The processes are electrically controlled by drum, valves, pump, motor and heating. The processes involved in washing machine are :
Soaking : It dips the cloths into water to remove dirt from cloths.

Control Logic of a washing machine :

The two inputs are given for the power and water supply . once the inputs are given output is displayed as per sequence. The system is observed , checked and process is completed by green light.

2) Gear Shift Logic :

constant block has been used for speed input which is linked to a slider to change the speed so that different gears can be activated
step 1 : when speed is between 0 to 15 then gear 1 should be active

step 2 : when speed is between 16 to 25 then gear 2 should be active.

step 3 : when speed is between 26 to 40 then gear 3 should be active.

step 4 : when speed is in between 41 to 60 then gear 4 should be active.

step 5 : when speed is above 61 gear 5 should be active
