Week - 4

Aim: To build a control logic of a washing machine using a state flow library. And to make a Simulink chart for the gear shift logic as per given conditions.

Procedure:

Control logic of a washing machine:

• From the state, the flow library extracts the chart option. Inside the chart using state block write down the conditions required for washing machines like soaking, washing, rinsing, drying.
• To give the delay time after the one condition used after command write the required time for the operation.
• Finally using the symbol pane initializehttps://drive.google.com/drive/folders/17CMVlxhvVxBdzXWrT5grGX9TOi5qQOOi?usp=sharing the input and output values.

• Exit the window we get below block, using this block gives the required inputs and visualize results in the scope window

Simulink chart for Gear shift:

Procedure:

• From state flow library extract the chart option. Inside the chart using state block write down the conditions required like when speed is 0 to 15 shift to gear1,16-25 shift to gear2,26-40 gear3,41-60 gear4, above 61 gear5.

• Give the required speed as input as per the input gear will shift and display as shown below.
