Week - 4 - 2D meshing for Plastic components

Aim: To mesh on given plastic component with variable feature & thickness

Object: Meshing generation the component using ANSA Processor by following listed below steps.

1) uploading Cad file & defining topology

2) clearing all geometrical irregularities

3) generating mid surface & defining PID with proper thickness

4) Generating mesh on component for given quality criteria

5) clear all the off entities to generate perfect mesh

Use topo and 2d mesh with combination Ansa modules to achieve above

Result :

Net is generated with less Tria & all quality criteria are cleared with capturing every features.

Conclusion:

The challenge is completed within given time, there are some challenges like generating mid for variable thickness, are resolved and mesh is generated
