Week - 4

Problem 1

The objective of this lab is to implement the control logic of a washer machine cycle using Stateflow. As per the lab instruction, the Stateflow code is created first and then configured the inputs and output to each state to run the simulation.

Below are the washer machine Stateflow configuration and simulation

The simulation works as expected, after the time is elapsed it switches to the next state.

Problem 2.

Due to the first problem, it was easy for me to figure out the second problem function.

To objective of lab #2 is to model a Stateflow for a manual gear transmission where the Stateflow configuration will display which gear will need to be active depending on the condition of the speed entry.

Below are the Gearshift Stateflow diagram configuration and simulation.

In conclusion, this lab was excellent overall. I learned how to design a Stateflow machine for both the washer machine and the gearshift changed and to perform data analysis to determine if they meet the condition of the lab.
