Week 4-1D Element Creation Challenge

Aim: To create a mid surface for a given component and assigen the 1D elements with require dimensions.

Working procedure:

Step 1: Create the mid surface for the given component.

Step 2: Create the mesh on the mid surface.

Step 3: Create the RBE2 and RBE3 connections for the holes.

Step 4  Create the 1D element of box with dimensions.

Step 5: Create the 1D eement of I section with dimensions.

Step 6: Create the 1D element of cross with dimensions.

Step 7: Give the mass at point D and E of 10.

Step 8: Give the Spring connections at F point.

Final model: 

Note: Creation of box 1D element of box in Pshell box not able to finde. SO insted of box  i have created box element.

Learning outcome: In this assigenment 1D element creation learn and RBE2 and RBE3 and Spring connections learn.

Conclusion: Creation of mid surface and mesh is takes less time, on the otherhand 1D element creation takes time.
