Week-3 Challenge: ADVISOR Tool

1) For EV_defaults_in file, if cargo mass is 500 kg with all other default conditions, can the vehicle travel for 45 km with FTP drive cycle

Open the advisor tool and select the EV_defaults_in and change the value for cargo mass 500kg and select continue the icon and change the CYC_FTP drive cycle is selected and all the parameters is same to select the RUN icon

In this results is Distance 17.8km,Second Plot is SOC is Fallen to zero after nearly 2500Seconds

2)try changing the battery capacity and repeat the simulation

Changing the Energy Storage to 'ESS_PB65_FocusEV' and otherwise parameters no change to continue icon click to goes to the next page drivecycle is change the value for 7 and otherwise no change to select the RUN button.

Results See that Distance 96km Second Plot is SOC 0% by 13000 seconds approximately. single charge 96km distance travel the vehicle.

3) open the PRIUS_Jpn_defaults_in file is no changes for any other parameters to select the continue icon open the next page gradability value is already assign the speed 55mph its select the icon next go to the RUN the parameter this is gradability is 1.7% its value for 88.5km/h

and Change the gradability speed is 45mph to RUN the Parameters Gradability value is 72.4km/h and increased to2.2%

and Change the gradability speed is 35mph to RUN the Parameters Gradability value is 56.3km/h and increased to2.4%
