Week 3 Challenge

objective: to create a parametric structure with publication for the given class A lens

procedure:

1. open CATIA v5

2. create a new product

3. insert new product name it as iput surface and in this all the class A surfaces will bw pre 4. in that create a new part file naming the part classA surface

5. likweise create several part file for each class A surface inputs 6. copy the class A and paste it in the part file and create join to check the surface quality

7. increase the merging distance if any bounday appears 8. name the join as classA lens

9. go to tools >publication-add class A as publication.

10. publication is done to easily acess the model or any geometry from the tree strcture easi 11. the detailed parametric structure helps the modeller to identify and understand the moc model locally and be easily updated without any difficulties.

conclusion

the parametric structure for creating lamp is created and a publication is done for class A lens.
