Week 2 Bevel Gear Challenge
OBJECTIVE:- To perform a Grid Dependence test on the Bevel Gear for the mesh sizes of 4,5 and 6mm. Calculating results for Total Deformation, Equivalent Elastic Strain, and Equivalent Stress.
Theory:- 1)The Grid dependence test is used to improve the result by using successively mesh sizes for calculations.
2) And used to produce finer mesh to approach the correct grid convergences.
3) And time step also refined for the more correct and proper results which required.

Conclusion:-
As per the input values for the test (4,5, and 6mm of mesh size) the result obtained clearly shows that as mesh size increases successively the accuracy of the result gets lower. As the result show the best results for the bevel gear is with the 4mm mesh size.
