Week 2 : Basic Calibration of Single cylinder SI-Engine

1. Results from running the case at 1800RPM

• air flow rate = 24.65 kg/h
• BMEP = 9.48 bar
• BSFC = 239.14 g/kW-h
• In-cylinder pressure = 10.6 bar

2. By changing the compression ratio to 12, and increasing the bore diameter and stroke to 87mm, achieved 10% increase in power outout from 22.3 HP to 24.5 HP.
