1) Doorbell Model :

Output :

A step signal is given at 2s, to model the switching on at the 2nd second. A force output from the plunger of the solenoid is observed at the same time. Hence, the bell will ring as it experiences this force.

2) Thermistor:

The voltage drop at 25 degree Celsius from the Thermistor is first calculated and used as the trigger point for the switch. Since the resistance of the thermistor decreases with an increase in temperature, the voltage drop will decrease also, with an increase in temperature. Hence, if the voltage drop goes below the voltage drop at 25 degrees C, the fan must come on. That is the logic used.
