AIM

1)Make a Simulink model of Doorbell using solenoid block.

for that start simulink and add firstly a solenoid physical model.

and a switch to control the bell and a battery power.

connect these three in serires.

next step is, we want to find the reference for electrical signals,so a electrical reference is added an is connected to this formed circuit.

a pulse generator is also added in connection to the switch with a intermediate simulink to physical connecter because these are two environments(pulse generator and switch),so we can connect it by s-ps connector.

next is to connect the solenoid output to a ideal translational motion sensor,in which it will detect the motion of the plunger of bell. and then a reference is to be provided ,so a mechanical translational reference is connected to the common of translational motion sensor.

then the out put is connected to the scope with the help of a ps-s connector,so it can be connected . out of that a solver configuration is connected to the output connection of the motion sensor so that all the background equations are structured.

im providing the simulink model :

2)

AIM:

Use a thermistor to sense the temperature of a heater & turn on or turn off the fan

firstly create a new window.

firstly from library or direct search a thermistor ,battery, voltage sensor and a resistor is connected.and a electrical reference is connected to this circuit for the reference.

a signal builder unit which is a simulink object and which is connected to a controlled temperature source by a simulink to physical connector(s-ps) to the input of the thermistor.and a reference is to be provided ,a thermal reference is connected to the common of the controlled tempereature source.

from the voltage sensor we connect the signal to the input of a three terminal switch of the fan which should be operated when required by a ps-simulink connector .and the remaining two terminal is setted as ON and OFF by inseting constants '1' and '0' respectively. and as a part sover configuration is also added in the connection to the switch from voltage sensor.

CONCLUTION:

So we did the simulink model of the door bell and the temperature sensing of heater using thermistor.
