1.THEORY OF DOORBELL:

A doorbell consists of an electromagnet called SOLENOID. A soleniod is just an electromagnet where the coil wire surrounds a piston.Piston contains of a magnetic conductive metal,it can move forward & backward by the electromagnetic field.

In this design, the solenoid piston consists of an iron core mounted to a non-magnetic metal bar. When there is no power to the soleniod,a spring pushes the piston to the left & the iron core extends outside of the wire coil. When you press the doorbell, the iron core drawn the magnetic field.so it slides into the centre of the coiled wire.As the core slides to right, the piston strike the right-hand tone bar, which produces a particular sound.

* HERE, In this simulation I have prvoide STOP TIME(T)=5 Sec.

* PLEASE FIND THE FILE "untitled.slx" AS THE SIMULATION MODEL & "CALLING…COPE.jpg" AS THE OUTPUT IN THE SCOPE OF THE QUESTION 1.

  • PRINCIPLE BEHIND DOORBELL:

The Solenoid consists of an electromagnet with wire winding & a small metal piston. When current flows through the wire, an electromagnetic field is generated which pulls the metal piston towards it.The metal piston hits the tone bar.

2. THERMISTOR:

Thermistor is a type of resistor which resistance is increased with the rise of temperature. Although all resistor's resistance varies with the change of temperature. But thermistor is sensitive to temperature change.

Thermistor act as a passive component in the circuit. Thermistors are accurate & cheap to measure temperature. While thermistors are not working properly in extermely hot & cold temperature.

  • 0-10 sec Temperature 293
  • 10-30 sec Temperature 300
  • 30- 50 sec Temperature 296

You can see these details is ploted in signal builder:

After running 50 secs we need to provide the display as an input to the switch for ON & OFF conditions.

* PLEASE FIND THE FILE "thermistor.slx " AS THE SIMULATION MODEL & "SCOPE O…STOR.png" AS THE OUTPUT IN THE SCOPE OF THE QUESTION 2.
